After graduating from Riggs Lemar Beauty College in 2000 Josephine began her career at HairCrafters in Stow, Ohio and later relocated to Virginia Beach where she spent two years working at the Cali Hair Studio. While on a visit to Cookeville, Tennessee Josephine fell in love with the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee and decided to make Cookeville her home. After moving to Cookeville she spent two years working at the well-known and highly-regarded Jon Beasley Salon.

She then made the decision to pursue a dream of hers and open Josephine Salon, originally located on N. Washington in Cookeville, so she could provide a hair experience unlike any other in the area. The decision to close Josephine Salon came after she and her husband relocated to Coronado, California and then eventually back to Sparta, Tennessee. 

After taking a few years away from the salon to raise her then young children, she and her husband decided to re-open Josephine Salon in Cookeville at its current location, 1680 S. Jefferson Avenue. 

Josephine Salon offers a full range of professional hair styling services and hair care products exclusively featuring the Schwarzkopf Professional line of products. Josephine specializes in hair color, contemporary cuts, Japanese straightening and brings over 18 years of experience to every client she serves.
